Who We Are
Hi there, I’m Timothy and I’m originally from Singapore. I have previously lived in Singapore and Australia. I am now living in Japan working at a digital marketing agency. Over the years my family and I have been fortunate to have been able to travel in Japan and around Asia. For me, I enjoy going to random little known places and documenting them and taking photos.
This blog will hopefully help you to find little known gems in Japan that are worth visiting.
What’s My Process
I don’t really enjoy planning itenaries. I go about my trips by literally looking at google maps and going oooh this town sounds interesting, let’s see what’s there. And oooh this place looks interesting, let’s go there today. This takes me to some of the most interesting places that most tourists won’t visit (or notice).
My attention to detail (and OCD-ness) helps me to document what I experience as much as possible. I do love beautiful scenery and hope to be able to display that in the photos we have taken.
Lastly, I have an inability to follow what others like to do. Or whatever is mainstream. You won’t catch me hanging out at Tokyo Tower often. This disability drives me to visit places where others may not, and talk to people where others won’t.
Our Main Travel Destinations
Japan is our main travel destination and main passion. There is so much I have yet to explore and do. I can't wait to explore and share it with you all.
Singapore is my home country and occasionally I will travel back for some events and document them. Like the time I attended a golf event for the very first time...
Australia specifically Adelaide is where I attended university and has slowly become like a second home to me. I occasionally travel back to visit and might document some of my travels there.
Lastly, I do stop by around different parts of Asia from time to time. Like the time I stopped over in Hong Kong...
